On the day of the EU-China virtual summit, we remind the EU leaders of serious and systematic human rights violations commited against Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region by the Chinese government. #AnnaFotyga🇵🇱, together with 62 MEPs from 6 political groups, sent a letter to the 🇪🇺 leaders participating in the summit to urge them to raise this issue. To support persecuted minority and raise awarness, Anna Fotyga initiated a #SpeakUpForUyghurs campaign by wearing and distributing facemasks to MEPs.
